Plymouth Cordage Ξ Labyrinthine

We were tipped off as to the location of a closed cordage (rope) company in Massachusetts. We stood around trying not to look suspicious as some passers-by prepared to leave, and then entered a massive warehouse when the coast was finally clear. The building was not particularly interesting since it had been cleaned out more thoroughly than almost any other abandonment I have ever been in. However, the maze of locked doors provided an entertaining couple hours of walking around trying to find our way to all the floors of the building and back out again.

The ropewalk manufactured cordage for everything from no-tangle rope for the harpoons of whaling ships sailing from New Bedford to the rigging for America's Cup yachts to cowboy's lariats.
