We sure are crash. I mention a little of the history a couple pages back. We visited Fisher Body 21 which is the iconic factory for them...it was REALLY cool for a gear head.
Hopefully I will get to see some more famous landmarks of automotive history the next time i make a trip out there. :)

Great photo and even better that you provide some information about the place! Love pictures with motif of abandonment/industry and other unusual places (but they are hard to find!) B&W seems right for this shot, even though I wonder how it looks like in color...
After thoroughly exploring Fisher Body 21, our destination for the night was the Packard Plant. 3.5 million square feet of lawless, Albert Khan designed, abandoned goodness.
