My trip to this location was long overdue. I had known about the place for quite some time before I got it together to head over here. We explored the collapses for some time, darting in and out of active tunnels hoping that a worker would not happen upon us. In order to explore the final abandoned building on campus we had to crouch through a 4 foot high steam tunnel which crosses under one of the roads on campus. To add insult to injury, the tunnel was filled with about 8 inches of water and it was the middle of the winter. Needless to say, we were unwilling to make the trip back through the tunnel on our way out so we, instead, made one of the most unstealthy, sketchy exits of my exploring career right into the middle of the active campus. Thankfully, luck was on our side this day.
