lloks like a ghost town!
i like the depressing mood and the grain in the sky.
Gloomy. Looks like the story with a lot of industrial townships.
I really like the grains in the picture, and I think the composition is very good.
Great shot.. the contrast, sharpness and tones are beautiful.. have you used a film? the grain is awesome
Hey ReallyJapan,
Yea, this is film. I think this is neopan 1600...I shot some TRI-X on this trip, but I believe this is the neopan. I have a whole bunch more film stuff coming up too!
just as I was watching this picture an Alice in Chains song came on my stereo
'We chase misprinted lies
We face the path of time'
Nutshell on Jar of Flies EP - suits the mood of the photograph perfectly...
cheers
Dylan
The hexagonal building on the left makes the composition stranger if possible. Great tones in the sky.
All of your photos are awesome and your commentary is ... uh ... professional.
I used to live near Pleasure Beach (I have photos to prove it on Flickr!) and I noticed many of the trees were dead in the summer which added to the desolation.

The contrast between urban Bridgeport and Pleasure beach was striking. Just a couple hundred feet away at the closest point, Bridgeport is another world.
Feels like a depressing scene. I suppose industrial areas have that effect on the landscape.
