This notoriously difficult to photograph spiral staircase was one of my favorite features of the steel mill the first time I visited. The looping, almost musical design in the middle of a place so focused on production and functionality was really representative of the entire mill and exploring in general. It's incredible to find aesthetic beauty where there was never really intended to be any.
I love the toning you got in all these shots. the slight brown tint is really cool. gives it an antique look. this place looks so badass, i wish i saw it. nice shot.
