I don't think I have ever posted here before however I have been following your site for quite sometime. This image drew me to post. This image is simply amazing. As the previous poster stated it is hard to tell if this is a single wide angle image or a pano. If not for the info you provided it would be hard to tell. Have you considered making a large print of this image?? Such as a poster?? Additionally what were the final dimensions on the image??
Thanks much for the positive feedback. I am definitely pretty happy with how this turned out, so I am glad other people are liking it! Also thanks Da1King for looking at the site in general!
It looks like the image is 30x18 at 300 dpi. I actually just ordered prints a few weeks ago, so I probably won't get it done any time really soon but I will definitely be getting a print the next time I order a batch. The one problem with this is that it will be expensive to matte and frame, but this one is worth it! :)
If anyone is interested in a print you can email me...dave at desolatemetropolis.com and we can probably work something out. I can't currently matte anything that big but I can get an mpix print out to you.
Wow, you really get into some really interesting and beautiful places. The pano works totally awesome, and it helps to understand how big that place really is. Looks like the theater was grand once.
Awwwwesome pano, i love how you went from each side of the stage in a mirrored effect.

I finally worked out the troubles with this huge multirow pano. This is the first multirow pano I have shot...definitely something I want to experiment more with. It allows you to really capture the feeling of being at a place.
Love it! The set from this theater is amazing!
I like the colors in this one. The ceiling is like a nice warm glow over the muted seating area. And the paper and string add a nice touch to the foreground.
Is this one picture from a wide angle lens or stitch work from multiple pictures?
