Friends of mine happened upon an unusual abandonment and invited me along for a return trip. The building was both a Catholic School and a small Inn when it was active. I had seen photographs of the building and knew that it was in incredibly good shape, and looked as though they had flipped off the lights and left everything as it was. I was not to be disappointed.
I shot both film and digital on this trip. This is a film shot of one of the dormitory areas.
Terrific light in this image, I love the delicate fragility of the scene.
