I saw the perfect sunset coming on my way back from Long Island and manged to find a place to pull off the highway and take some shots. New York City is in the background, just under the bridge, but it's difficult to see (one time I actually could have used my long zoom and I didn't have it), but I think this handheld pano worked out pretty well.
I want to try and put together some high res desktop backgrounds...I think this may make a good one.
Yeah it would for sure make an awesome wallpaper. Nicely composed, lovely colors and very calming. Funny, you don't see many pictures of NYC where the city not is in focus. Great shot. Keep 'em coming :)
