Some of the tiny rooms had sinks.
I think there are some things which are universal between all explorers, and the look on an explorer's face when they think security is on the way is one of them. I was standing in the doorway to this room talking with three of my friends when we heard a bell ring...almost like a doorbell. Instantly the looks on all three of my friends' faces simultaneously changed to ones of alertness and grave concern. Eyes widened, necks craned, bodies froze, eyes darted left and right. It probably looked like some kind of bizarre three way mirror, because I felt the same expression cross my face.
We paused there a moment, listening, and then all started to head away from the noise at the same time. I slung my tripod over my shoulder and began to collapse the legs as I hustled towards the back of the inn. We were heading back towards our entrance in the school section. Each of us sidled up to a different window to peek out when one of our friends, who had disappeared, came around the corner giggling and telling us that she had rung the bell to our incredible relief.
I will never forget the way all three of my friend's faces changed at the same time undoubtedly mirroring my own.
Your photos of this place are beautiful, it looks like an incredible find. I particularly like the first one with all the curtains to seperate beds that're no longer there... beautifully surreal.
I'll definitely be back for more.
