Smoke Stack
The power plant at this location was constructed around 1899, along with this huge smoke stack. The power plant is connected to the second mill that was constructed on site. It was built after a fire decimated the property. The fire was not disastrous as it could have been, since it forced the modernization of the operation. This contributed to the continuing success of the cordage company.
